***2012 HAIR GOALS Thread***

1. Im shooting for my nape to reach APL (it rides the short bus to hair growth school)

right now the front and sides of my hair are 8.5 - 9 inches long (incidentially which wud put me at APL if those darn hairs were at my nape)

my nape however is only 6 inches

2. learn how to style my hair Im good at twists but Im no good at styling them or my loose hair

3. finish at least 5 products in my 6 month no buy Ive collected a butt load of products which I need to use up. This will also get my reggie down pat.

4. go 12 months without heat I'll be joining the no heat challenge for next year. My hair will thank me for it Im sure - will also help in achieving goal 1

My goals
1. Healthy, thick edges and sides.
2. Making it an entire year in the no heat challenge.
3. Be able to claim BSL
4. Keep up with my fotki - seeing past progress really helps motivate me to continue good practices or step up my game when needed!

--Be able to make a low bun
--Be able to make a high bun
--Be able to make a donut bun
--Be able to do a low bun/pony with my twists
--Style in 40 twists or less (currently 60 to 80 look good)
--Heal my crown area and have it fill in
--Thicken my edges
--Reach APL then BSL
--Learn how to wear a twist out for multiple days
--Have hair that drapes over my shoulder (not sure what length that is)
--Have my twist reach my boob when I stretch it
--Be able to reach back and pull hair for a length check
--Wear my hair straight for 1 week
--Have twist hang past my shoulders
--Hair long enough to cowash midweek and style in 30 minutes
--Define my straight hair regimen
--Define my twist out regimen
--Define my rollerset regimen

Ah the bolded Im gonna add to my goals, which coincide with achieveing APL and beyond in 2012

plus Imm start the nipple length coalition, it should be about BSL:look:

get back on my vitamin game
Full bsl by end of December,but I'd love to be grazing mbl
Try out some natural styles, maybe I will try some twists
Learn how to straighten my own hair so it doesnt look like a frizzy poof

I want to hit MBL and Waist Length this year. I know i am in the 2013 waist length challenge but I believe my longest layers can definitely make it this year.

I want my curly hair to dry at BSB after banding or twisting. Be great if I can make it in 2012. I think I need about 7-8 inches of growth for this.

Aiming very high this year but plan on doing what it takes to get there.

I would love WL by June 30th. I wanna stretch ~6month. Relaxing June 30 will be 28weeks. That's what I'm shooting for. It would be a very pleasant surprise. If I can make WL by then (which is ambitious; I need 4in) im trying for WHIP by end of December. Can't decide if WHIP is my end goal or if hip will be. I'll decide when I get there!

to retain all of my growth and make it to BSL. i want to keep breakage at bay, and have fullness. i want to wear a bun with no effort.
