Since I won't use up anything else by tomorrow, I've already changed the colors of the products I plan to target in May (about 11 products). I will probably finish up my original list before the year is over

DD and I have used up two DDTAs and she finished off her last Nubian Heritage EVOO and Moringa hair butter. Sorry to see that dc'ed product gone. She asked me could I find more but this last stash of it was me already hunting it down.

Since we are interviewing butters/sealers, I bought a sample size of CD Mimosa Hair Honey pomade (even though I already had JC Nourish & Shine on deck--this pj is still a work in progress). I also bought a can of Living Proof Restore Instant Protection during the Sephora sale. Yes, I already had three bottles of heat protectant backed up in addition to the two in use now, but somebody talked it up and I figured I'd buy it with my free Sephora money and during the sale. But that's it...for hair products. Now off to the Makeup No Buy thread...

Just finished up Creme of Narure Foaming Wrap Lotion. I suck at roller sets so I got rid of this by using it to top off my braid/twist outs on wash day.

Used up my last Hydroquench Coconut Lime Oil, one APB pomade, Alikay Naturals Coconut Carribean Shampoo, and a La Belle Gel.

I thought I wouldn't be able to get through much in a sew in but maybe a can put a dent in my pomades/butters (oil scalp) and liquid leave-ins (spray braids) only a few more uses left of my Kinky Kashmere refresher spray.

I haven't purchased anything since February or March, but since I have been wearing my hair out, I needed to purchase some curl defining products because I only have a few sample packets.

So, I bought a jar of Africa's Best Shea Butter Curls Curl Defining Cream and a bottle of Coco Conscious Re-Define Foaming Gel.

I have done very well. I bought some Joico from TJ Maxx earlier this year because of the rave reviews but other than that so far so good.

Everytime I even think about getting something I think about the products in two closets, the refrigerator and the freezer and am like you can literally wait for this same exact sale next year and STILL not need a darn thing.

I have used up Honey's Handmade Knot Going Bananas & L.A.C.E. Ayurvedic Mist.

Also, I was looking through my stash and found a few items that only have a little product left in them, so I added them to my list. It's looking like more products will be added monthly because I am going through the products faster than I thought.

However, now that I am wearing my own hair, I will need to buy a few more styling products because I mostly have sample packets. But don't worry, I will not get out of hand because I don't want to mess up the progress I am making.

Had to take my sew in down two weeks early (swearing off cheap hair) so I'll be cowashing and wet bunning almost daily. Hopeful to get through a conditioner and small sized moisturizer within that time.
