A leave in/heat protectant

Isn't this the same thing? Before I get my hair pressed, I use 911 leave in then air dry. Do I also need a heat protectant or is this good enough? If so, could someone recommend a good one...thanks

I use New Image Damage Free Thermal Active Conditioning Styler as a heat protectant when I use my ceramic flat iron. I purchased it from Sally Beauty Supply. It's discontinued, but some stores may still have a supply on hand.

It's pretty much a leave-in/heat protectant all in one (at least when I use it that's how I use it).

I use Redkens So Long Heat Treat and I love it, a little goes a looooong way. No build up, doesn't weigh my hair down and leaves it shiny. You could use it on dry hair, I did it once just to see. My hair came out nice. I don't use BD's and rarely use irons anymore. I also use it for roller sets.

You used it too! I wrote about it in a thread a week or so ago where someone was asking for a heat protectant. I liked it too. My hair was really soft after using it to blowdry and flatiron my hair.
