The Fast Easy Way
To Detangle Hair
Promotes hair growth by stimulating the scalp,
preventing split ends, and eliminating breakage
Worried about weak hair that's breaking off or that gets so tangled you can't get a comb through it?

Our sturdy detangling combs will help detangle and smooth your hair while preventing split ends.

That's because our combs are hand carved from a single sheet of Italian mock tortoise cellulose acetate. The result is a perfectly smooth, seamless, wide-tooth comb that gently massages the scalp & glides through hair.

Cellulose Acetate: The Natural Way to Keep Hair Healthy
Cellulose acetate is a non-petroleum based material that's actually created from wood pulp, a renewable and biodegradable resource. The material makes a beautiful comb with a deep gloss and high transparency. Cellulose acetate is very tough and resists breaking, yet is smooth and flexible, allowing you to use our detangling combs without hurting your hair or scalp.

How to Detangle Knotted Hair
It's a good idea to detangle your hair before washing it. Once hair is wet, the cuticles can lift, causing hair to snarl even further.

First, identify the tangle and separate it from the rest of your hair with your fingers.

Start at the bottom of the tangle and use the detangling comb to gently start picking through the snarl.

Work your way up the tangle until you're able to comb through it without tugging. This may take a lot of patience and you may need to turn the detangling comb sideways and use a single tooth on the end of the comb to work through a very tight snarl.

To prevent tangles in the future, be sure to comb out your wet hair after shampooing, conditioning and applying a leave-in conditioner. (Never, ever brush wet hair - hair is very fragile when it's wet and a brush could stretch the fiber, causing it to snap).

Introduction
Detangling long hair can be a painful process that can damage follicles if you're not careful. Follow these steps to remove those troublesome knots.
Instructions
Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You'll Need
Shampoo
Conditioner
Wide tooth comb
Towel
Hair dryer
Steps
1Step OneShampoo hair as you normally do. Have a wide-toothed comb within reach.
2Step TwoApply conditioner while in the shower. Comb the conditioner through your hair starting at the bottom and working your way up. Apply additional conditioner if needed.
3Step ThreeWrap your hair in a towel and wring out as much water as possible without ruffling your hair, which will only cause new tangles.
4Step FourComb through your hair again, beginning at the bottom.
5Step FiveWork through tight tangles with a single tooth of the comb until it loosens.
6Step SixDry hair with a hair dryer while avoiding ruffling. Continue brushing from the bottom up while drying to prevent additional tangles.
Tips & Warnings
Separating the tangle from the rest of the hair may makes it easier to work with.
If you do not have a wide-toothed comb, try an ionic hairbrush. It works well on wet or dry hair.
To prevent dry hair from tangling, spray a leave-in conditioner on dry hair, concentrating on the ends.
Never try to brush a tangle from the top down. This is painful and damages hair.
Don’t try to detangle sopping wet hair. Hair should be between damp and dry to prevent damage.

Uhh...I'd say anyone interested in finding these should just save their time and trouble. Cellulose acetate is another way of saying...plastic. They're plastic combs made from a more environmentally friendly type of production. Use of a seamless wide tooth comb, and careful detangling with use of hair care products is good advice, just not new advice. I'd say go get a bone or (better still) a horn comb, those are also seamless and natural, and contain keratin which is better for your hair than any kind of plastic.
