Are water based products bad for relaxed hair?

I just purchased a product whose 1st ingredient is water...is that bad for relaxed hair? I know there are a lot of naturals who like water as a moisturizer, but I was wondering how relaxed hair ladies felt about it?

I like water based moisturizers as long as the consistancy is creamy, watery moisturizers are no go especially if I'm stretching because they make the new growth wave back up if it's been straightened out. If I'm wearing a wash and go then it doesn't matter as much.

I don't care for water based products because it makes my hair feel. I prefer oils when my hair is straight now back in the day I use to love some pink moisturizer!!!

Thanks ladies! I actually bought the Nu-Gro Spray w/ Moisturizer because I was walking through the BSS today and the ingredients really intrigued me...there was a lot of great, natural ingredients, but I worried if the water being its 1st ingredient and all, would be a problem for me.
