Ceramic Pressing Combs??

Is there such a thing?? I like to air dry my hair ans go through the roots with a pressing comb before I flat iron. I noticed that my good old gold n hot comb was actually pulling and breaking my hair. Are there any good hot combs out there, I would love to find a ceramic one. Any ideas or leads ladies??

have you ever tried pressing the roots with a marcel flat iron that's made to be used on the stove?It holds more moisture in the hair.. pressing combs can be drying over time.my stylist uses the small flat iron on the stove to press and only does the edges with the hot comb.results are a smooth, shiny press that lasts longer

thanks! i'm kinda scared to use an appliance on the stove from pass experience but it sounds like something i want to try.

I actually have a ceramic pressing comb. It is an electric one so that I can control the temperature. I have only used it a few times, but it gets my roots and the rest of my hair straight.

does anyone have a ceramic pressing comb that they use on their roots? What's the brand and how do you like/does it get the job done? Do you prefer it to flatironing your roots?
