Does your hair HATE oils?

My hair HATES, HATES, HATES oils. Heavy oils (i.e. castor oil or olive oil), light oils (i.e. Jojoba oil), natural oils, non-natural oils (i.e. mineral oil or petrolatum). The only "oil" that really works for me is shea butter. Anyone else have this issue? What are you using instead?

- My hair LUVS some shea butter.
- Tolerates olive, castor, and jojoba oils in small quantities.
- And acts a gat dang fool if I come any where near it with some coconut oil (I can pre-poo with it, but if I leave more than a speck in, it's all over... Crispy and greasy all at the same time:nono:).

I don't try to fight it. I give my hair only what it loves.

I know my hair hates olive oil. I haven't really tried other oils to see if it likes them because after I discovered S Curl, I stopped looking for products to pamper my hair. I tend not to fix what isn't broken so I don't know what else my hair might like. I do know it's found its love and it's staying faithful.

ugh my hair can't stand olive oil and pretty much anything else... crunchety crispy crunch... but its cool with shea butter, castor oil, avocado butter, and coconut oil... when its mixed with something
