Educating the Community in Natural Hair Care

This thread is a spin off of the poll I posted asking if you would be interested in teaching a natural hair care class in your local community.

Many people said they would and provided their Tips and Tricks for educating others. Thanks NappyMD for encouraging me to start this forum!

So let's dialog as to the information you feel others should know about hair care, what you would have wanted to know priror to taking steps to being natural, and any other tips or tricks you have found along the way that may help others.

That's a great idea. It's a good thing to spread the word around and make others aware of the beauty of their own natural hair. A lot of people are really clueless. I know I was. I'll be attending a Natural Hair class at a local salon too. I'm waiting for them to set up the next date.
