My Pastor is a Awesome Man of God along with his wife the Co-Pastor.
I am in Outreach Ministry. So much to do and get involved in we are always busy.
We are also getting ready to "Alter the World".

I got baptized Oct 2, 1994 .....15 years!


3. What is your favorite thing/things about it?

There are so many things to mention.... I guess I love the small group family atmosphere... I love that all nations are a part of the church...Every cultural group under the sun.

I love the musinc ministry. I am blessed to help out in several capacities...I met my husband here... We help to lead a small group of other married couples, help to arrange marriage retreats, etc....
I have more best friends than I ever had in my life.

I had 13 women in my wedding...heeeeThat is a lot of BFF's!
If it is God's will, I will never ever leave this minstry. Most of my professors don't understand why I cannot leave L.A.for a PhD program....
I do!

Faith Chapel Christian Center, the local church, is a congregation of believers dedicated to worshiping God, to attaining spiritual maturity through knowledge and application of God's Word and to communicating God's Word to others. Faith Chapel Christian Center: word-teaching, worshiping, witnessing.

2.5 years

3. What is your favorite thing/things about it?

I like our vision, our praise and worship, our values, our prayer and confessions and I like the teaching. We are blessed to have Pastor Mike as our teacher. I like that when I leave the worddome, I can tell someone exactly what I learned, point-by-point. I like that they help us to cultivate our individual spiritual gifts as well as group anointing. I like that we have "no pew members." I love the people there! And I love that the Word goes forth boldly and is rightly divided.

ETA: I don't want to leave. If I can't go to grad school in a 2 hour radiance, I wont be going

First Baptist Church of Glenarden - I love Pastor Jenkins.

3. What is your favorite thing/things about it?

My pastor is an awesome and humble man of God. Its very big and prosperous church. Over a hundred ministries to get involved with service the kingdom of God.

Lots of things! The worship, the heart of the Church - which I think is in the right place, the provision of an opportunity to really connect with other believers and also reach out to the world around us including the poor and destitute in other Countries, and the word.

My pastor and First lady are AWESOME! He teaches about real life situations. And makes things easy to understand.
He is so funny and down to earth. He doesn't want us to put him up on a pedestal, but live for GOD. Our music ministry is AWESOME as well. I am so blessed!

I love the sense of community and equality and that as a whole we work to bring the church into the community (through various ministries aimed at assisting people and showing them a Christ-like spirit) and not locked inside the doors of the church.

Yep, that's my church home . Thanks, it is great. I'm glad you love their songs! I do too ... that's what attracted me to the church in the first place. Nothing beats being there live and lost in worship.

What's not to love? GFB is the place to be!

Naw seriously, it just feels like family. Not too big and not too small. I have a personal relationship with my pastor and don't have to go through a chain of command to get to him.

Yes!!!! I go there whenever I'm home!!!!! Pastor Jenkins is the truth and an awesome Choir! I wish I could find a church like that in ATL!!!
