My beloved GM passed last month and I walked into the gym feeling that I was past the worst part of the mourning and the step instructor was playing this song & I began to weep all over again because this was my GM's constant testimony.
This is how they sang in my GM's church when I was little and how she still sang around the house. She went through so much in her younger days, but the sweetness of the Lord never left her.
I googled and tried to find the song after that day in the gym because it was stuck in my spirit, but God is Good brings so many results. I was at the gym a few days later reading Ebony and there was an article about Regina Belle asking her about the old time song God is Good on her new CD
