Got a ? about Affirm Relaxer

I had looked at the Avlon website today and it said that the Affirm dry and sensitive scalp relaxer uses guanidine hydroxide, and the regular relaxer uses sodium hydroxide. My question is the sensitive scalp relaxer a no-lye relaxer?

Yep, I believe it is. That's the one my stylist uses.

It might also come in the lye formula though... I'm sure there's someone here who knows the answer to this!!

Thanks for the reply.....
I think I may have created a boo-boo
. I went to the salon yesterday and asked the stylist if Affirm made a sensitive scalp relaxer and if they could use that to relax my hair. My hair came out pretty good. I had looked at the avlon website before, but I didn't know what the difference was between sodium and guanidine. I should've asked the stylist, but I wasn't thinking about it at the time. I haven't had a no-lye relaxer in years, I hope and pray my hair doesn't start breaking off.
