How do I find out my hair type?

I'm thinking I might start to texlax but I want to know my hair type to have an idea of how it might turn out. I am relaxed by the way...

Well you will not be able to tell your hair type if you are relaxed unless you have a good bit of new growth or happen to know what your unmanipulated natural hair texture looks like check out this link http://www.naturallycurly.com/hair-types

If you are relaxed, a texlax will just look like how your hair looks when you underprocess it ie when you do not relax bone straight

You'll probably need about 2-3 inches of new growth to get a really good idea of your hair type. And even then it's still deceiving because of the relaxed ends. I'm streching my relaxer at the moment so I can properly type my hair. I think I'm a 3c, 4a mix but I won't know for sure until I have A LOT more new growth
