I use a liquid mix that I make myself. It has heavier oils in it in the winter (castor, argan, wheat germ, and walnut) so I don't necessarily seal afterward. If I do, it's often with something light, like KBB Jojoba Oil (just because I'm in twists and the lighter oils don't cause my twists to unravel).

I use it twice daily, separately seal 2-3x/week. I'm 4a natural.

I moisturize twice per day. It's Cold here and I'm under a Wig & Durag M-F. In Lieu of a Winter Hat.

The Heat/Dry Air from Indoors & Car, and the Cold Outdoor Air can Zap the Life outta your Hair.

I usually use a Heavy Lotion, Butter or Hair Cream. I seal with a Pomade or Oil. Sometimes I will also use a Spritz, Cream & then seal with Oil.

Oh, I'm Relaxed. And probably a 4 something.

I have multiple textures with two different routines.
----

1) How often do you moisturize (how many times a day)?
Daily, sometimes every other day depending on hair's needs.

2) What do you use to moisturize?

After washing:
3abc fine-medium section: shescentit coco cream leave in. Excellent non-greasy light balancing moisture.
3c to maybe in the 4s cottony, med-coarse: homemade shea mix (shea, EVCO, castor oil, AVG, honey, lemon oil)

Daily:
both sections: water. The key to soft, moisturized, stretched hair w/ water is to just use a few sprays on a section & work/smooth it in until it doesn't feel wet, just moisturized. Then repeat if needed. Don't use too much & let it evaporate- makes hair dry & rough.

3) Do you seal? if yes : With what?

both: EVCO. Also helps moisturize. Tiniest amt for loosely curly/fine, more for tightly curly.

Twice a day. I do a more thorough job at night though, the morning routine is really just a reason to play in my hair.

2) What do you use to moisturize?
Darcy's Botanicals Coconut Lemongrass Transitioning Creme on dry hair. If it's wash day my staple is Shescentit Coco Creme.

3) Do you seal? if yes : With what?
Hairveda Vatika Frosting (coconut oil) though in the mornings I've been using Silk Dreams Nourish because the cold weather and coconut oil don't mix very well.

4) What is your hair type?
Super fine strands, tightly coiled new growth in most areas except my nape.
