I have an appointment Feb 2 for a Keratin treatment any tips??

Are there certain products I can or can't put on my hair? Can I still use Sabino or my favorite Olive OIl ORS Glossing Hair Pollisher??

Do I get touchups like a relaxer with the keratin treatment?

** this is the keratin treatment not the BKT** (not the one they need the mask to apply)

Tell them not to put the heat so high. 400 is high enough. Ask what brand they are using. make sure it is formaldehyde AND aldehyde free.

Napp yes I had a consultation and she said the flat iron is not turned up to 450 degrees for everyone. Its the keratin not the BKT so yes I'm sure its formaldehyde AND aldehyde free.

I think you can use your same products but you probably won't need to use as much. Check with the stylist to be sure. Come back and post pics!

Can't wait to see before and after pictures! As far as beforehand, you don't need to do anything special. Your hair will be washing with a stripping shampoo to get rid of all product build-up so that the keratin can penetrate thoroughly.
