Well, I'm trapped in the house by the ice on the street so no church for me today.. . .BUT I did talk to and hear from God.
Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.--Proverbs 4:23
Keep--Strongs # 5341:to guard in a good sense to protect, maintain, obey, etc.
Diligence--Strongs # 4931: watch, preserve, safeguard
Issues--Strongs # 8444 which is the plural of 3318: to go out in a great variety of applications
I heard this scripture this morning and God led me to look at the words that make it up and to look deeper at all of the things that are manifested in my life and write them down, both good and bad; find their sources in my heart; and prune out the things that are not of him. How? You wonder can one undertake that. It sounds easy enough, but it is our struggle daily to do just that.
It may be daily, but the scripture that he pointed me to was this:
Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. Psalm 119:11
