I got this tip from Biracialhair.org to use Clairol Herbal Essence Conditioner as a combing conditioner due to the slip it gives. I cannot believe I didn't know before. It worked better than Aubrey Honeysuckle Rose. I'm in shock.

I'm actually relaxed but I am loving this new line called Naked Naturals...I saw one of my friends and her hair looked fantastic and I asked her what she was using she told me and I tried it and I have been using it ever since..It can be found in drugstores like Rite Aid and Walgreens...I use the formula for color treated hair..

I'm a natural 4b/c

Miessence: Love the whole range of hair products especially the super softening conditioner, their repair and protect panthenol hair spray for leave in spraying - I add to my leave-in mixture, their styling gel for twists etc - full of fab stuff for hair....

Aubrey organics: Love the conditioners for DCing

Avalon organics: Again, wonderful range of conditioners

Urtekram: Another fab range of 'cheapie' organic conditioners for co-washing and mixing up into homemade leave-ins

Green people: Fab conditioners too.

Other stuff I love.....

Silk amino acids: quickie protein fix, plus I add it to my leave in mixture
Glycerine: fab moisturiser/humectant
Aloe vera: I have to have it, lol. for styling, plus it strengthens
Ayurvedic herbs: to strengthen, moisturise, thicken etc
Natural oils and butters: to pre-poo, moisturise and seal
African black soap: my favourite ever for 'pooing when I do 'poo
Kitchen cupboard ingredients: ACV, soda bic, eggs, bananas, avocadoes....... :lick:
