Product Ingredient Database

CurlyCrly

To each his own. :)
This site has a list of ingredients for household products. It's good for finding products with specific ingredients if you know what you're looking for. It does not tell you what the ingredients do. Once you click on the ingredient, it gives you a list of some of the products containing that ingredient. It is not an extensive list, but it's something. You can then click on the specific product name and it will tell you the other ingredients in the product.

I used this to look for products containing PVP/VA (for the curly girl routine), phyantriol (heat protectant), sodium myreth sulfate (which is in the Elucence shampoo). I did not end up purchasing the products I found, but at least I now know which products contain those ingredients.

This is a National Institutes of Health site, so I'd think it would be somewhat reputable.

I didn't know people were interested in something like this until I saw the other post this morning.
