I know. If I saw someone with my same hair texture pre-LHCf I would take their advice, not tell them they are stupid when my hair is no where near their length. Obviously, they are doing something right.

Hopefully one day she will open her eyes to see that hair growth is possible for Black women. If she does not that is her loss. Some people should learn to listen and stop assuming.

Sometimes the only way a person can make themselves feel good about failing is to throw stones at those that have succeeded.

I'mma go 'head and bump this thread. Why?

I'm thinking about getting braids for several reasons:

1. My NG is getting fuller and thicker, so I want to be able to tame it better.

2. To help my stretches, I'd like braids to aid with that.

3. Protective styles for my strands and ends.

4. I will be working out and running a lot. I need to not have to bother with hair for the rest of the summer and fall.

5. This is the time of year where my hair tends to grow the fastest. In keeping with the topic of this thread, I think braids will aid in getting the greatest amount of growth possible.

I'll be using human hair for micros.

So, come on in here ladies who have successfully grown hair using braids. Tell your success stories! ;)
