Staple Hair Practices

This thread is sort of a contradiction of my previous thread:

Anyway, I was just wondering what are your staple hair practices that you believe have contributed to healthy/longer/better hair.

My ones are:

  • Moisturising my hair every night with my leave-in conditioner and then sealing with olive oil. I pay particular attention to my ends.
  • Wrapping my hair at night so that it's straight the next day with a nice bump to it. This also contributes to me not using direct heat on my hair every time I want straight hair.
  • Roller setting my hair after every wash. This makes my hair seem fuller.
  • Washing my hair in the shower as opposed to in the bath tub with QP Elasta Creme Moisturising Shampoo. This has reduced tangles.
  • Adding 1 or 2 drops of peppermint oil to my deep conditioner has given it a bit more life and I believe it has helped promote my hair growth. It tingles when I use heat.
  • Massaging my scalp has been helpful and is quite relaxing.
Obviously I do other things and I use other products and equipment but the things listed are my staples. Even if I were to change things in my regemin, I would never change those things.

What are your staple hair practices that you would NEVER change even if you were to make tweaks to your regimen?
Please share. :yep:

I hope all these suggestions can help someone who is developing a regimen. Looking at all these, it looks like it's best to keep it simple
