Can anyone help? I don't see the option for turning them on. I want to be able to insert the emoticons within the text. Where are they?

i went to user control panel and then to options. after that i scrolled down to miscellaneos options and chose the Standard Editor with extra formatting. then i had to hit reply to a topic and inside the response box there was a button that said enhanced mode and then mine finally showed up on the right side of the reply box
