THE ultimate oil leave in- no smell or grease:

Try Emu oil. I live in Canada and so it is as easy to come by as Australia. We have Emu farms here to. I have tried this oil out for the past two years. At first, I had too much product on my hair to really see the benefits. But now that my hair is in it's best condition, the other oils are too heavy to use as leave ins. Jojoba leaves my hair stiff: Olive oil is too oily: Castor oil makes it swell up: Shea butter is too heavy. Now Emu oil is totally odorless, but my hair loves this stuff. It stays full, bouncy, is great for the scalp, hot oil treatments and for the ends. The body I have with this oil is unbelievable, It takes about 5 drops for my whole head and scalp. It is very creamy. I am going to add a Vanilla essence to mine and occasionally do a scalp treatment with essential oils in the Emu oil. Here is a website if you want to learn more about it. It is a Canadian site from which I intend to order in bulk, as it is just too expensive on the shelves in the city.

http://www.emuoilcanada.com/order-form.html There is some excellent information on Emu oil at these sites. If you have DRY SKIN AND SCALP: http://www.healthyhairplus.com/dry_hair.htm

I hope that you ladies try this and I would like some feedback. It is sure nice to not have greasy smelly hair and NO PRODUCT BUILD UP.It leaves my hair so soft as well. I find it far superior to jojoba oil.

Mahalialee, I have this oil too. I really don't use it much except to make a pomade. So it's usually mixed with other oils. I also use it for cuts and scrapes. It does wonders for healing. Thanx for the links.

Mahalialee-

Thanks for the tip and the links. I will check them out. (After I pass this PJism phase I'm in right now. /images/graemlins/grin.gif (Too dangerous to check them now--I might BUY something!)

Have you ever tried Grapeseed Oil on your hair? I hear that oil is very light too.

Grapeseed oil is still too oily for me. I do not like my hair to feel or look oily. Just full, moisturized and silky feeling. I am saving the other oils for deep conditioning hot oil treatments. I use the grapeseed oil to thin out the other oils. Thank you for asking. Bonjour.
