I found the BEST cheap replacement for Nexxus Humectress: Suave Humectant. It was only $2.99 at my grocery store and works exactly the same as Humectress and it's perfect for CO washes.

Did you compare the ingredients? My hair depends on Humectress.

Nope. I can take a look when I get home, but for $2.99, why not give it a try? It worked exactly the same on my hair. Let me know what you think if you decide to give it a whirl.

I use Humectress for DC and use Suave Humectant for CW's.....the milk n honey left my hair hard

I tried this and my hair laughed at it, it has nothing on Humectress in my opinion. If I would ever try another knock off it would be atleast Sally's brand. Suave has nothing on Nexxus Humectress, according to my hair.
