Trimming Natural Hair

My "baby" is 5 years old with a head full of unprocessed hair. You guys talked me out of relaxing or texturizing anytime soon and I've gotten SO much info on natural products etc. My own hair is relaxed and a whole other ballgame...anyway....any recommendations for trimming natural hair? I'm seeing a few splits so...help me out ladies

an easy method to try is to put her hair in a bunch of medium sized twists and snip off 1/2 in(or more or less depending how bad the ends look) off the ends of each one. thats what i do and it seems to work well for me.

I also do what babyblue suggested. Put my hair in a small/medium twists and snip each one...works like a charm.
