what type of \"tools\" do you use?

ladies, we spend a lot of time discussing the types of products we use on our hair. i'd like to know what types of tools (blowdryers, curling irons, etc...) do you use to maintain your style. i JUST discovered the round brush this weekend. i've been deathly afraid to use one, but decided to try it now that i have a better idea of how to use it. i also use the following "tools" depending on the style:
1. flat iron with 10 heat settings (can't think of the brand)
2. hooded dryer
3. gold n hot blow dryer (small, with no attachments)
4. extra large black comb, to detangle
5. flat brush (great for de-volumizing, is that a word
)
6. regular brush (for smoothing)
7. 1 1/2 inch curling iron, which i hardly ever use anymore now that i know how to curl with a flat iron

what do you use?

Hey, aregee!

I am deathly afraid of the round brush too! My tools are blowdryer, paddle brush (for wrapping), wide tooth comb (of course!
) and a ceramic flat iron.

-Boar bristle brush

Re: what type of \"tools\" do you use?

1. Chi 2" flat iron or HAI Stik 1" (both ceramic)
2. Revlon Ion blowdryer
3. Foil processing cap (for deep conditioning)
4. Large wide tooth comb (for detangling)
5. Heat protectant

I use my blowdryer and flat iron every week when I'm not in braids. I'm going to be buying a hair steamer (sometime this summer) for home deep conditioning treatments.

Re: what type of \"tools\" do you use?

1. A Conair professional hooded dryer (the one that cost $1oo something dollars at Sally Beauty Supply)... The hood is large enough to fit large magnetic rollers under it and the airflow is great.

2.A seamless wide-tooth comb from Tenderheaded.com

3. A Jilbere Shower comb

4. Magnetic rollers
