I too am stuck in the DMV and have just came off my six week press stretch (4 weeks pressed out 2 weeks under the wigs) ... I just washed, proteined and detangled my hair...I am now under the steamer! I'm going to let my hair and my youngest daughter's hair marinate in some moisturizing conditioner all day tomorrow and redo her box braids on Sunday.

We r getting a nice load in PHilly and I am soooooooo mad I Henna-ed for 2 1/2 yesterday. I deep conditioned w/my coconut milk mixture and blow dried on warm. Now my hair is beautiful and thick. I could have left the Henna in longer tomorrow. I am goiing let my hair relax clean the house, clip coupons and use the computer. I must say this is the first time I have looked forward to snow. I'm chillin....

I'm not even doing my hair until Sunday - the rest of the weekend will be spend watching moives, cleaning, and drinking - lol.

So I managed to get my hair done this weekend.

I relaxed with Silk Elements Shea Butter Relaxer
Used Motions CPR before Neutralizing
Neutralized with Silk Elements Shea Butter Neutralizing Shampoo
I then used a mixture or CPR and Motions Moisture Plus on my hair for around 35 minutes… hair came out silky smooth.

I then let my hair air dry with a bit of Motions serum overnight in a satin cap
Parted my hair, blow dried it (my hair was about 90% dry)
Used my fantabulous Amika flat iron
Used Motions Marula hair strengthening moisturizer

Hair turned out great.

Didn’t feel like rollersetting, lol

Um, I took some scissors to my head too… I have this thing about ends, LOL

Yep the snow is here once again this evening! Today is my first day out of the house since last Friday. I have oiled and deep conditioned my hair to death!! Talk about PS...
