Hello board - Longtime lurker saying hello!

Hello LHCF.

I just finally got my membership today.

I love this board and can't believe how much stuff there is on here. I had no idea!

Well a little bit about my hair:

I have very thick thick hair that is relaxed. I relaxed for the first time in 2007. I guess you could call it tex laxed. My natural hair is medium brown but I have a Bigen Oriental Black on it that is finally fading now after over a year! I have been putting the Ion rinse in black on it from Sally's but I plan on not doing that anymore.

My hair is to my armpit crease in the back and a little shorter than that in the front. I am growing out bangs now for almost 6 months. They're at my chin now.

I use the Soft & Beautiful Regular relaxer.

I don't really have a regimine so I am looking into that.

Also interested in roller setting. I currently flat iron weekly with a Nano Ceramic from Sally Beauty Supply.

I am also on a budget.

I have never had hair extensions before but I am really curious about trying that as well.

I feel like I have said so much! But it's just to introduce me to you all.

I admit that I am shy about putting up pictures on here because I am a bit overweight and not happy about the way I look in just a bra or a tank top even, but I can show you my hair.

Yes I do have 3 little ones. My husband is in the military so it's just us most of the time.

And I have added a photo. I actually think I am not arm pit length anymore. Maybe an inch shorter since my last relax/trim.

Ihave always just had OK hair. It's always been pretty thick.

With my firstborn it seems like my hair got so dry and its stayed dry. Thankfully I never really had postpartum shedding. The babies gave me horrible Rosacea and just made my skin and hair very dry.

I want that VaVaVoom hair so many of you ladies here have. That is why I want to learn how to self relax better and how to rollerset. I know I need to buy a hooded dryer to get the good salon results.

Platinum I don't live in Ansbach but I was born there and then went to Munich then came to Canada. My roots are in Bavaria though and most of my mom's family is still there.

I know there is a base there. Are you military?
