WHAT'S UP?!

I have to give a shout out to Irresistible. After picking up tips from her fotki I have learned everything I need to know on how to take care of my hair. She is the reason my hair is super soft, shiny and manageable. It's funny cause I don't really think of us as hair twins but what works for her hair works extremely well for mine too. So I pay close attention when she raves about a product.

And Sweet_Cashew. She is my inspiration to make it to HL and beyond.

I am Loving the growth that I am getting from My homeade Sulfur Growth TRMT.

I am extremely nervous about relaxing after 6 Months post, and having braids in and out for 3 and a half Months, not quite knowing what the results may be, Praying for a Pleasant surprise not a setback. Jeesh! I'm trembling at the knees thingking about it, Phew!

I have found a protective style that i LOVE...ponytails with loose/soft spiral curls (cute & simple).Wearing this style has def helped me retain a nice amount of length, I'm so excited! Also ...I found a new fotki 2 stalk....mskibibi...her album is so inspirational.

I totally agree, that is My Favorite Summer style, like everday, it keeps the hair from touching Your clothes, as long as its moisturized Your good to go. Love It!

I'm 38 weeks post (no, I'm not transitioning, just lazy!) Hair One Olive Oil has been a godsend the last 6 mos. Taliah Waajid's Bodifying Mist is pretty doggone wonderful too It really detangles my tightly wound hair, and it stays moist for days I LOVE the fact that CVS has it for $6.99.

If only I'd discovered it BEFORE Ojon Mist!!!

They are the devil. :bighugs: Warm oil helps. A pointy rat tail helps (the metal ones). Kids Organics has a great spray detangler in a pink bottle.

Thanks! I'll check that out. I have a Shea Butter & Tea Tree Oil moisturizer from Organics and unless I put castor oil in it all it does is make my hair dry.

On a happier note I can't wait til I get my new Maxiglide. It's a Christmas present from my friend.

I'm sitting under my hair steamer loving every minute of it. I'm happy that I finally found a stylist that I can talk to and feel comfortable expressing my opinions. I'm 11 or 12 weeks post, but I relax next week.

Random question about Qhemet Burdock Root Butter Cream. Since there's MSM sulfur in it, will it negatively impact my scalp when I relax? You know like the growth aides. I'm sure hoping not because that's the only thing that can keep all this new growth moisturized.

What does your resume have to look like to get a job collecting sperm.

Did you have to start off collecting the sperm of smaller animals first? Like dog, cat or goat? Do you have to present a portfolio of other animals sperm you have collected as proof of experience?

Oh and who are your friends? How do you tell people when you meet them what you do for a living?

You meet someone new and they say, "I teach inner city kids how to read and count" and you? "Oh ahh I collect whale sperm and bottle it for sell at hair stores nationwide, bare handed, nice to meet you"

Hiya, My Mix consist of, Sublimed Sulfur (Flowers of Sulfur), EVOO, Castor Oil, Jojoba Oil, Rosemary Essential Oils and Peppermint Essential Oils! If You'd like to know exact measurements, I'd be happy to share!

I would love to do yarn braids but acrylic makes me itchy. I'm going to have to just get box braids with kanekalon, and even that is kinda irritating. I'm going to try soaking it in ACV.

I've never used it but since it has sulfur in it, it might. Are you putting it on your scalp? If not, then I think you should be ok. Otherwise I would stop using it a week before I relax.

finally got all my naturla products. Ordered Qhemets heavy olive oil and amla cream, the gee detangler and the burdock root moist and LOVING it!! I am waiting for hairveda products and I have not been doing my regimen because of all the things I ordered on black friday is not here

My hair is breaking REALLY bad, have to find something to combat it...any suggestions ladies?
