I use the leave in and the foam wrap lotion. I like them both, but the bottles do not have the ingredients listed.

It's kind of weird...

wow I will have to email them i will be going to the bss this week and check the bottles

If you find out, please let me know. I know I probably shouldn't have been using the products without knowing what was in them.

I have tried Nairobi and really wanted to like both the leave in and foam lotion, but it did not work for me. Both products dried my hair out. I have no clue why it did not work for me. My only is guess is that I am natural, but I am sure some ladies with natural hair use the products. I am glad it works for some of you ladies. :)

I've had the foam wrap for a long time-- can't give a fair review yet since I just quit doing daily wash n go's last week. Haven't done a roller set using it yet but I will next week and post a review.

UPDATE !!!!!! the Humecta sil has one cone in it BUT It is my new staple it is very thick and creamy gives great slip. i roller set and the shine was amazing, so i will but karecare to rest :dead:

Maybe I should give them a try. I was turning my nose up at those plain white bottles...I keep reading good things about their foam wrap lotion...

Does anyone know if their relaxer is lye no lye or both and are the conditioner ingredients listed anywhere?

OMG the Foam Wrap is PHENOMENAL!!! My rollersets come out soft, SUPER DUPER shiny, and the ends are moist. It's even fabulous for my twistouts. Hands down, the best setting product I've ever used. I    it. But not the $13.99 price tag :(

ETA: Yeah, they could definitely use some help in the Packaging Design department. Those plain bottles do NOT do the product justice :nono:

I know that they do have both lye and no lye...I have used the lye before and I agree it is an excellent relaxer.

I don't have any information with regard to the conditioner ingredients

I'm giving up the foam wrap lotion if someone wants it...I've only used it three times. It's good, but my hair just doesn't care much for foam wrap lotion.

Ok so I never post but I got to speak on this. Nairobi is the best system I have ever used. I just switched to Nairobi because I could not solve my breakage problem. It's part of the reason why I wear my hair short. The longer my hair would grow, the weaker it became in the crown area. Two years ago I began lurking here and I decided to go natural.:nono: Absolutely not for me. However, I learned so much about hair on this board that I figured I could relax and maintain the weaker areas. Wrong. I simply could not find a relaxer that wouldn't cause breakage. I would have constant breakage for about a month after a relaxer.

Anyway, Sleekhair.com has almost the entire line. They don't carry the neutralizing shampoo.:ohwell:
My hair can handle the relaxer, gets straight and there is virtually no breakage. For those of you not looking for a new relaxer, try the conditioner. It has collagen proteins in it.

Thanks so much for posting this. I have been looking to buy this relaxer myself without going to a salon. I used it and it left my hair really silky and healthy looking but since I was unable to find it i have had to use other things. Now that I know where to find, it gon be on.

Have you personally ordered from sleekhair? I saw it on their website and I was gonna post here to see if anyone ordered from them b4.

I don't normally post either but I had to after trying the Humecta-sil yesterday. I can't explain it exactly, it was if the texture of my hair was changing right in my hands. My hair felt so different as soon as this thing touched my hair. By the end of my conditioning session I was getting a little excited. Still not wanting to jump the gun I waited till after my hair was dry but I knew the results were going to be good even while doing my rollerset. My hair just felt different (still at a loss for words) - smooth, silky, stronger. Once my hair was dry everyone I encountered was commenting on how nice my hair looked. All the dry areas seemed to have disappeared. Very impressed!

agree with the ladies that like the foam wrapping lotion

I had a stylist that used the relaxer on my hair for a while. I believe it may have been too strong for my hair. The home maintenance products are pretty good, but have less than impressive ingredients. (ALS in the shampoo, cones in the condish) The leave-in conditioner is really nice, but they do not list the ingredients on it at all and that's disappointing.

LAWD I'm trying not to purchase any products until June. Why did I come back into this thread?

*adds Humecta-sil to list* :drunk:

I got my Humecta-sil yesterday, and I used it today.

It is fantastic, and it will be one of my new staples. (My current staples, AO HSR and V05, had been leaving me kind of meh lately.) After using Humecta-sil, I literally wanted to get out of the shower and throw every bottle of HSR and V05 I have in the trash. :lachen:

The slip is crazy. I would compare it to Silicon Mix in terms of slip. I prefer this to Silicon Mix, though. The consistency isn't quite as thick as Silicon Mix, but that doesn't bother me.

This is why I love LHCF--I probably never would have known about this product had it not been for my hair sisters!

THANK YOU ladies for the input i am in a sew in challange fo six months then i will try the foam wrap lotion

My previous stylist used to use most of the products when I was getting relaxers. I must say they were great! I love the foam wrap lotion.

Too bad I never got mine from that thief of a stylist Kena
