How many bantu knots did you make to get it that wavy?
thanks dachsies! i had about 10 bantus: sides, top, & back. the longer you leave them in, the longer the set lasts. bigger bantus = wavier curls. smaller bantus = tighter, tinier curls.
Did you use anything to hold that bantu knot set?Setting lotion or anything?

nope. i didn't use anything to hold them. just some oil & whatever heat protect was left in my hair. & thanks, i went back & forth about cutting now vs. waiting until i reached my goal. now won out
LOVE YOUR HAIR!!! It's so thick and healthy. But I am halfway mad I can't try that bantu knot set (I am sitting in some two strand twists looking like the predator right now..trust)...How many knots did you do to get it to look like that?

I'm jealous of that bantu knot set. It didn't come out nearly as well when I tried it (but then again, I already know I'm styling challenged).

thanks nice & wavy! you're right, it takes time & cqc, but other than that, it doesn't take too much -- just a sharp pair of shears, and the willingness to use them.

Tkj25, I'm hating you a little now coz I BC'd a few months after you and not to a shaved head and my hair doesn't look as thick or as healthy as yours. I'm also mad that your hair is so even. OK, you gave yourself a cut but why don't you have some odd hair sticking up in the middle of nowhere with no plans to grow anywhere?
