Just Dc'd with Aubrey Organics white Camilla
Leave in - HH Pink Lemon Berry Mimosa
Seal - either HV Jardin Oil or SSI Seyani Butter

I'm not sure if I like White Camilla. I just took it out my cabinet to see if I remembered if I liked it or not.

Hello My LHCF Sisters,

I'm one week post so this weekend I will be doing a protein treatment consisting of Design Essentials 6n1 mixed with a little fenugreek powder under the steamer for 30 - 45 minutes followed by a moisturizing deep conditioner; air dry to set for a bun for the week.

Not too much for me, I've adapted the less is more attitude and it really does work!

I am going to relax next weekend and of course my head is itching like crazy .... so this weekend I'm going to do a clarifying shampoo. I think I will steam in my DC and then leave it in overnight. I have to fgure out how I'm going wear this 17week post hair to a wedding this weekend too. This should be interesting:look:

Hi there!
Do you rinse the tea out before putting your DC? I am experiencing some shedding and would like to try that tea rinse. Thanks

Tonight, pre-poo with coconut oil overnight. Tomorrow morning, add conditioner to my hair (not sure which one yet, likely something with light protein) and go for a jog (aka DC lol). Either rollerset and flat iron or airdry and flat iron.

Slight chance I might do a braid out if I can get my hand on some Miss Jessie's to try. Otherwise I'll just wear it straight.

I will be prepooing this 12 wks of new growth with JBO and Kanechom cond to push it out to 14 wks. That combination helped me on my last stretch. I will probably just rinse and airdry for a bun.

My usual wash (Elucence Moisture Benefits Shampoo) , condition and twist (QB AHTB) for a twist out. Trying to decide if I want to use the new Bel Nuovo conditioner I got yesterday or PBN chocolate smoothie again. Hmm.

ETA: I actually might do a braid out. Never tried one before.

taking out these blasted mini twists ... theyre locing up ... I already started pulling them out and have several knots that Ill have to work through individually:yep:

its so weird ... I expected the shed hairs wrapped around the entire twist but what surprised me is that each half of the twist actually twisted up around itself as if I had rope twisted it :perplexed

anyhoo. after im done with that I'll DC with claudies protein DC (cant remember the name) then do a steam with KB mask and twist up for a twistout with HV red tea LI under SM curl enhancing smoothie

I want to do a protein treatment and flat iron my hair to trim my ends. I wanted to do that labor day weekend but I might end up doing it this weekend.

I'm thinking I'm going to try crochet "braids" with the marley hair. I'm a little skeptical, but hoping for the best because it would make a great protective style for me.

Co washed last night and put some Bantu knots in. I'm liking how soft and defined they are. Much better than my last attempt.

Early this mawning I pre-poo'd with Dabur Vatika, poo washed and DC'd with SSI Riche Moisture Mask. ACV rinse-out and set on my grey magnetics. I flat ironed my hair and wrapped for bed (as usual). I will actually be doing a hardcore protein (2 Step) on my 19 weeks post hair on Sunday in preparation for my relaxer next weekend. I wanted to henna and protein, but I wasn't sure if that was too much.

Doing a henna treatment overnight tonight and then a yogurt/coconut butter baggy DC all day on Saturday. My hair will be 2-strand twisted up and banded thru Sunday, and then back to a twisty bun for Monday.

IDareT'sHair, I went to the salon today and have a fresh new relaxer. The experience was really good. It was my first time at this particular salon. The stylist used Affirm and it was my first time using Affirm. I have used Mizani in the past. The relaxer turned out really nice. She trimmed my ends without chopping off all of my hair. She was gentle and did not yank the hair from my head. She commented on how healthy my hair was. She even asked me to be a hair model for her salon. I feel really good and will return for all future relaxers. Also, I have been on my journey for 1 year and there has been significant improvement in the health of my hair. My 23 year old son saw me today with my hair out and he even commented on how healthy my hair looked. He was amazed by the transformation. He never sees my hair down because I usually bun. Can't wait for my husband to get home from work to see it.
