I put Aloe Vera juice in my conditioner and leave in last night. I forgot that it needs to be refrigerated. Does this mean I have to keep my conditioner and leave in in the fridge? I'd hate to do that but it seems I do. Anyone ever put Aloe Vera juice in products and just left them on the shelf for a few weeks? And most importantly, If I use it spoiled, other than no potency, do you think it'll take out my hair?

I cant use aloe but I have made my own leave in from tea. And yea these homemade concotions spoil. Besides a smell it never took out my hair if I didn't realize it went rancid.

At max I got 4 day shelf life out of tea before it got stinky when unrefrigerated. Fridge is best.

Well you could put a little of it in a hot water bath just before use so that it won't feel freezing cold when you out it on your hair. :yep:

I use aloe Vera gel on my face as a toner and I just keep the bottle in a dark cool closet. I've been using it about 2 months and it has not gone bad

Well geeze, I never refrigerate my aloe Vera juice. When I buy it, it's not in a cold section?? So I've put some pretty rancid stuff on my hair then. You're good my hairs just fine lol
Do you buy the big bottle from the GNC store? I thought it had to be refrigerated after opening. How long have you used it before you finished the bottle?

Nope I buy the dessert of lily one (I think that's the name of the brand?) from my local big grocery store. It's on a shelf in the organic products area where they store the toms deodorants and witch hazel and stuff like that area. I refrigerate my ACV sometimes but never my slow Vera juice

Wait, must you refrigerate ACV? I leave mine out and use it for months since I dilute for toning and mixing the occasional clay mask.

My entire family from my great grandmother on down has never refrigerated ACV. We cook with it, drink it, etc and it's always sat on our kitchen table. ACV is ok on the shelf.
