I'm looking for deep conditioners that work fast and doesn't require heat. I'm trying to reduce the amount of time I spend on wash days.

Moroccan Oil Intensive Hydrating Mask. On the expensive side, but as you’re applying it to your hair, you can literally feel your hair becoming hydrated and detangling.

What's the difference between a deep conditioner and a conditioner, first of all,
And the biolage sounds interesting, does it work better if you leave it on for longer than 3 minutes?

Basically deep conditioners are composed of smaller molecules that are able to penetrate deeper into your strands that can moisturize or strengthen to a greater degree than rinse-out conditioners. Generally speaking most conditioners don't offer any additional benefits by using longer than specified but this varies from head to head. Rinse-out conditioners are often composed of larger molecules that don't penetrate deeply enough to produce a lasting effect. You can think of conditioners as band aids and deep conditioners as internal sutures. For some, deep conditioners and rinse-outs can be used interchangeably proving there are always exceptions to the rule. I don't have the answer for the Biolage though I own it, I have not used it yet. HTH

I really think most salon brands work in about 3-7 minutes. You mostly see natural hair care products that say leave on 30 minutes to 1 hour.

I’m using and loving:

Matrix Biolage Hydrascource Conditioning Balm (1-3 min)

Matrix Biolage Hydrascource Mask (3-5 min)

Amika Nourishing Mask (2-3 min)

Amika Triple RX Mask (5 min)

Carols Daughter Rhassoul Clay Softening Hair Mask (3-5 min)
