Oh-My-Goodness! Though my hair looks nothing like yours when I do a wash-n-go, it looks a lot like yours in the second and third pictures.

I LIKE A LOT!!!

Yes...get comfortable with your hair soon because it's magazine-worthy. Beautiful hair, lady!! Thanks so much for sharing with us. Please don't cut it...even if you do get frustrated. At least, come talk to us first...is that selfish?

Thanks again!

I personally LOVE your big luscious locks! Rock that big hair girl!:yep:

For the longest now, I have always wanted big, natural hair. Now that I have it, I'm really scared and intimidated by it. Today I went to school w/ a braid-out done on flat ironed hair and I felt uneasy about showcasing my big hair ( it got bigger and bigger as the day progressed) to the world. I did receive compliments but I still felt self conscious. I can't imagine how big my hair will be when my hair get longer. I feel like cutting my hair so I can wear my cute wash n go again when my hair was a little shorter.

Wash n go from August

Has anyone felt this way?

In other news, I reached 2 years post relaxer this past Saturday and I'm currently apl.

I'm sorry I looked at your hair and salivated a little. I know big hair isn't for everyone. Maybe you can pin half up and wear half down. Then you can slowly release more as you get use to it.

I know what you mean .. but try wearing it out more little by little and that shyness will wear off ...people will look and stare .. most of the time they will be admiring it .. dont worry .... My sister still makes fun of my "big" hair .. I say the bigger the better ! lol

I have felt the way you described. I'm not a very flashy person and I remembered feeling a little self conscious when wearing my hair out. Puffs are a good gateway to easing yourself into embracing your big hair. It's still big, but somewhat contained.

After awhile, people get used to it...and I don't feel that "big" hair is flashy anymore. It's just the way my hair is. I'm not trying to attract attention, I'm just letting my hair do its thing.

Your hair is divine btw!

I remember the very first time I wore my fro since i did a long term transition it was like all of a sudden I had this massive fro. I felt like I was on display and I was a little reluctant too....but eventually you get used to it and you wont feel awkward anymore

You better go out and wear that hair tomorrow! That is too beautiful to keep hidden to just LHCF ladies.

Just make sure to keep us well supplied with pics though...

Only when my hair is flat iron because it just looks like a bad blowdry and is too full for my liking so I usually put it in a ponytail.
