Not trimming has helped me. My hair is shoulder length and I wonder how long it would be if I didn't trim those many many many times.

Your hair is gorgeous.

What's helped me is:
-Stretching 3 months or more

-Keeping ends wet and moisturized and in a bun :yay:
-Deep conditioning twice a week
-Sleeping with my hair protected
-Using cones

My problem is I'm not long enough yet to wear in a loose bun, so I have to wear a tighter more slicked down bun & add hair. I am on a constant quest for a product that will moisturize, slick down edges, and tame the beast called NG:lachen: any suggestions will be welcomed.I pretty much follow your same reggie except I'm currently using MT/OCT. By the way great progress, your hair is beautiful. LOVE THE V!!!!

I started my journey this past June and the first thing I started was cowashing. I love it. Cowashing and DC 2X a week did wonders on my hair.

My basics that are helping with my growth are:

Co-washing 3-4 times a week
DC twice a week
No heat! air drying and not using curling irons or flat irons
sleeping with a satan cap (not trying to be too cute when I go to sleep!)

My techniques are the same as yours:grin: Now that I'm almost MB, I trim a little every 3 months (only for neatness purposes) I also baggie my ends instead of bunning BUT we both use EQP. I also use Profective Healthy Ends sometimes. I seal with Jamacian Black Castor Oil and Coconut Oil!

Your hair is looking beautiful btw:yep:

Me too girlie, only time I use direct heat is @ relax time. If I occasionally have to go to a function, and it's not relax time, then I use indirect heat, and rollerset.
