Hi guys this is my first time making a thread but I think I have to do this cuz its constantly on my mind. Ive been thinking about the end of the world alot. I recently had an anxiety attack because of it. Im very scared of whats to come. I dont have anyone to talk to and my family just tells me to go to the hospital can someone plz help or give me some prayer that i could use when im getting these panic attacks. thanks very much I would greatly appreciate it.

The unknown scares us all. Just don't worry about it and live your life because if the world is to end, you won't be able to stop it! So why worry over the inevitable? Plus every Christian since the time of Jesus has been convinced that the world would end during their lifetime but we are still all here. These preachers need to stop preaching all this gloom and doom cause it just makes people depress and anxious.

I guess just the thought of it. I feel like I havent been able to do what I want with my life. Ive just came to find me. Ive gone through soo much and all I want is time to achieve my goals.

Thank you Its just hard to not believe it when I hear it soo much. Idk your right though. THats what I keep telling myself.

Dear One... Jesus gives us this assurance: "See to it that you are not troubled."

As for the goals you have in life, trust God to fulfill what He has planned for you. He's the only One to trust with your life. Your very plans could end your life before the end of the world ever takes place.

Worrying surely will not help; it will only stifle you and make you fearful to move in this life. Neither will worrying add more time to this world's existance.

The end of the world is the very least of one's worries. The very least. So let go and allow God to control and just trust Him.

:bighug:

Maybe He wants you to face this fear head-on and overcome it through His Helper. We are not supposed to fear this illusion of dirt He created for our purification. When you are ready, ask Him to prepare your spirit for His truth, no matter how much it hurts. Keep seeking His will on this and let Him become your dread (Isaiah 8:13).

I truly believe that if you have to remove your self from the "fire and brimstone" gloom and doom prophesying. It's not good your mental health and has you in state of constant fear. You don't have to seek a psy doctor immediately but I would recommend that you seek out programs such as acupuncture or meditation for stress relief.

Sometimes you're just hearing and being inundated with too much negativity.

I heard someone else say that, I have to be honest, I want to hear the doom and gloom, because I want to know what they are talking about.

Your right fear of the unknown is the worst, but we actually do know what is going on. God has told us everything. its good news.

Its the best news ever, we (who are in christ and sealed) are going to be with Christ forever, we are going to sit at the feast, the welcome table. We are going to live in the city or in the country, we are going to plant in our own gardens and watch the vegetation spring up before our eyes. We are never going to be weary, or disappointed or hurt anymore. We are going to travel in a moment to other worlds, we are going to expand our knowledge we have so much to look forward to in the new earth. There is nothing but reasons to shout.

Now the Devil don't want you to know nothing about that. No he wants to keep you locked up in fear. No Child of God lets fear rule in their life. Don't worry about whats going on here on this earth, get your relationship with God stronger and all you hopes and dreams as long as they are within Gods' desire for you will happen.

The Savior said the very opposite : do not be scared.
In the flesh, we are scared. We have to look with eyes of Faith and stay in the Word.

Luke
21.27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 21.28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

21.29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; 21.30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.

21.31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand. 21.32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled. 21.33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. 21.34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. 21.35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

21.36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

My favorite, in trouble time :

Ps.
91.1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

91.2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

91.3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

91.4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

91.5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
91.6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

91.7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

91.8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

91.9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

91.10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

91.11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

91.12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

91.13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

91.14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

91.15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

91.16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

OP, you may be familiar with Psalms 91..keep meditating on it.. It's one of the best Words God has spoken to us, to keep worry/anxiety at bay - and out of our spirits. Don't worry about a thing!! God was, is, and always will BE.

I can't believe your family is suggesting for you to go to the hospital! Why won't they listen to you and give you encouragement and comfort? Whatever you do, do not go to a hospital. The hospital will be of no help, trust me.

Check out these verses:

Matthew 6:25-34

25Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

26Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

27Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

28And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

29And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

30Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

31Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

32(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek: ) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

33But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

34Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Philippians 4:4-9

4Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.

5Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

6Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

7And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

8Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

9Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

Here actually is a study How will the world end. I hope it is a help to you and anyone else who is interested.

Lesson 1 - How Will the World End

1. Before Jesus went back to heaven, what promise did He make? (John 14:3)

2. To what “blessed hope” did the apostle Paul look forward? (Titus 2:13)

3. Jesus came once already to bear the sins of many. Unto whom will He come the second time? (Hebrews 9:28)

“For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.” Matthew 16:27.

“Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come . . . he will come and save you.” Isaiah 35:4.

4. The disciples understood that Jesus’ coming would mark what point in the world’s history? (Matthew 24:3)

5. Why is it important for us to know the vital details about how Jesus will come? (Matthew 24:24)

The first chapter of Acts describes how Jesus went back to heaven. Notice the emphasis on the fact that the disciples actually watched Him go up: “while they beheld” (verse 9) “their sight” (verse 9) “while they looked” (verse 10) “gazing” (verse 11) “ye have seen him go” (verse 11)

6. What were they then told about the manner in which He will return? (Acts 1:11)

7. How many people will see Jesus coming? (Revelation 1:7)

8. How easy will it be to see Him? (Matthew 24:27)

9. Who will come with Jesus? (Matthew 25:31)

10. How many angels are there? (Revelation 5:11)

11. What effect can the sight of one angel have upon humans? (Matthew 28:2-4)

The coming of Jesus with all His angels will be literally earth shattering. Notice Revelation’s description:

“And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; and said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?” Revelation 6:14-17.
“And there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great . . .. And the cities of the nations fell . . .. And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent.” Revelation 16:18-20.

12. What did Jesus say to do when they tell you that He is coming secretly? (Matthew 24:26)

“Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him. He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people. Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.” Psalm 50:3-5.

13. All the tribes of the earth will mourn as they see Jesus doing what? (Matthew 24:30)

14. What will they be mourning? (Jeremiah 8:20)

“And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds.” Mark 13:27.

15. The Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a what? (1 Thessalonians 4:16)

“I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth.” Isaiah 43:6.

16. As Jesus descends, what is the first thing that will happen? (1 Thessalonians 4:16)

17. Then what will happen to the righteous who are alive? (1 Thessalonians 4:17)

18. Where will we meet the Lord? (1 Thessalonians 4:17)

“And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” John 14:3.

19. Where is the place Jesus has promised to prepare for us? (John 14:2)

20. Where is His Father’s house? (Matthew 7:21)

21. So where is our inheritance? (1 Peter 1:4)

“Behold, your reward is great in heaven.” Luke 6:23.

22. What will be heard as the angels gather together His elect? (Matthew 24:31)

23. Whether alive or asleep, what will happen to all the righteous when the trumpet sounds? (1 Corinthians 15:51, 52)

24. This corruptible will put on what? (1 Corinthians 15:53)

25. This mortal will put on what? (1 Corinthians 15:53)

26. Death will be swallowed up in what? (1 Corinthians 15:54)

“O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” 1 Corinthians 15:55.

27. What must we do now in order to stand before Him then? (1 John 2:28)

28. What does every man do that has this hope in Him? (1 John 3:3)

29. What offer does the Lord make to every sinner? (Isaiah 27:5)

30. Then when Jesus comes, what will we be able to say? (Isaiah 25:9)

In the Light of God’s Word...

I understand that Jesus will come again, not silently or secretly, but with power and great glory, to take His redeemed ones home.
I desire to be ready to meet Jesus, and go to heaven with Him when He comes.
