Can KCCC be used to slick back hair into a bun?

I want buy KCCC (Kinky Curly Curling Custard) to slick my 4b hair into a wavy/wet looking bun. I only want it for this look, because I don't wear my hair out. It is very expensive(college student ), so I'd like to make sure I can get this look before I buy it. Thanks in advance for your help.

ETA: I also plan to order Qhemet Alma and Olive Heavy Cream, and Burdock Root Butter Cream this month. Can I used these to achieve the slick look I want? I want them for moisture but if I can use them for my buns, then I will not buy the KCCC. Thanks again.

Yes, you can get the slick look with KCCC, but why not try Fantasia IC gel or another cheapie gel before you spend that much money, esp. since you're a college student. They are plenty of drugstore products that can give you the look that you want without breaking the bank.

Fantasia IC, Smooth N Shine for Extra Dry Hair or Long Aid Curl activator gels can give the same effect for a lot less.
