emu oil

I'm not sure of it's hair properties, but I know it's good if you have dry skin or excema.

I bought emu oil to use on skin but the fromnaturewithlove.com catalog has a hair oil tht includes emu. I have some left and I may mix it with some others for a hot oil treatment.

I tried it before, it was okay. A little to greasy for me and I felt guilty about using animal by products in my hair, I really try to go for natural stuff derived from plants. I find that they make my hair bouncy and soft and really easy to detangle. Castor oil is excellent for detangling.

I've only used it for my skin....I had a bad scar on the side of my face after I got my wisdom teeth pulled. A combo of shea butter and emu oil got rid of it!!

You may want to check out one of Sterry's threads where she's had great success and experience using emu oil.
