How do you reply to profile comments?

When someone posts a comment in your profile, to reply to just go to their profile and post a comment or is their an easier manner that involves less clicking.

Yeah, you could go to their profile and comment. Or what i am see alot of is just clicking your own profile comment button and saying blah, blah, blah. Ex. Thank you, sreenname!!! I think there should be an easier, neater appearing way also! HTH.
