How Do You Transition From Relaxed To Texturized

Hi Ladies,
My hair is currently Relaxed, but lately I've been feeling like I just want that Wash And Go look. I've been thinking about maybe texturizing my hair. Howerver I really dont want to cut off my relaxed lenghts. Is there anyway I can maybe transition from relaxed, any help is much appreciated.

My understanding is that you cannot texturize already relaxed hair so you have to begin to let your natural hair come in (my guess is through stretching your relaxer). Once you get a significant amount of new growth I think you can texturize that (NO overlapping into the relaxed hair). Eventually you are going to have to cut off the relaxed ends as your hair grows in.

If I'm wrong someone correct me as I am just guessing here b/c I did want to transistion but it was relaxed to natural, not texturized.

Better yet, why don't you do a search for transistioning?
