How many passes do you on one section of hair when flat ironing?

One pass with my FHI runway set at 375 degrees. I'm 14 months into my transition (although I almost all natural due to several mini chops)

My iron is 230 F, I do 2-3, when I touch up later in the week I do 1 pass on a low temp
