I tried it once. It left my hair hard. I had to steam to soften my hair back up because cowashing didn't help. I will try it another time before I give it away.

My DH uses it. He's 3C/4A. I bought 3 jars for him to replace his Afroveda Curly Custard (original name) during her 25% off/free shipping sale Oct 4.

What can I say? He's a man and is no fuss about his hair. I asked him how he liked it; he said it was fine. From what I saw, it defined his curls, was not greasy and lasted a couple of days. He does not cover his hair at night, LOL! His hair was soft to the touch after it dried. His hair also looked blacker (I henna/indigo his hair).

It's a keeper for him.

Oh, I just remembered. He does not have to use a jelly or gel with this product. It clumps and defines his curls so nicely.

I actually like this product. It's not heavy nor is it sticky. It's creamy, more like a moisturizer that happens to give a little defining action.
