Natural air too short for a ponytail.. I'm bored:TWA'ish ladies, help me!

Okay, so I have TENS of headbands (in all colors, shapes, etc), so I have been wearing twisouts and wash-n-gos. My sides are short, so I usually wear those styles in a puff pulled back.

i'm bored.
I have done two strand twists, as well as a two strand twist pin up, so Im looked for new styles for TWA'ish ladies!

help me

Or get a phony puff and use it to give you a bigger puff?

Or headwrap/scarf? Hats?

This was a phony puff and headwrap/scarf combo:

I can't see the pic (work blocked sites)

I wear a headwrap/scar daily.

I wear hats too...

I am kind of against weaves.. I have this "thing" about them. So I won't wear a weave.

I am tired of the puff look too.

Thank you Noni

is your hair long enough for rollers? you could set hair with small snap cover rollers.

I'm about to get some box braids and I have also been wearing half wigs. Other than that I am out of suggestions (hence me gettikng braids to get over it).

Another thing that I like, and forgot to mention, is straw sets on natural hair. It's time consuming though, but I love the results!

I have been doing them on myself so long that I just have it down, but I will check when I get home since YT is blocked at work. It's very similar to how people do the flexi rods except you pin them at the base instead of twists the roller.

Sorry I am not a bit picture taker but I have around the same length as you. I do a lot of pinned up styles using decorative pins to create updo looking hair styles. I use old braidouts and twistouts pinned up especially when I have somewhere formal to go and want to feel special.

I have a lot of things like this

and kinda like this, which I hide ends with.

I am also trying to recreate this look for a wedding next month as I am wearing a vintagy looking dress. I think its is roller sets pinned up.

Does your hair slick down easily with gel, even though my hair is 4a/b its really fine so I can use gel and scarf to lay it down and create the josephine bakerish looks with a few mandatory pins of course

Seriously, your styles are only limited by the time you have on your hands, I don't have that much time so make an effort with styling every other week or so, the rest of the time its the faithful twist outs.

I don't know if you can see my avatar but I put some flat twists on the sides of my head and set the remaining hair wet two strand twisted with my lock loops. After is was dry I took out the loops and undid the twists. It was a cute twa style.
