JOJOBA!

Ive been using it in the past three weeks and my hair is softer, bouncier! It even makes my air dried braidouts bouncy! It's light as well. I wish I had discovered it sooner! It smells great like a lotion or shampoo---not what I was expecting!

Oils I use

castor 9works better than olive oil on my hair, which is too heavy)
coconut (has been adding softness)
jojoba (read above :D)
peppermint (masks sulfur smell in BT)
I have sweet almond but have yet to try it.

Not to thread-jack, just wondering when you are able to use all these oils. I only really use two kinds : olive, for heavier moisture, and coconut, for lighter.
Can you guys tell me how it works, maybe I can find something better...

I use my more stinkier Ayurvedic oils to prepoo before tea rinses, cowashes, or cond. pastes.

Grapeseed and Almond I use on my body.

My Afroveda and Hairveda oils smell better so I use them to seal, sometimes along with Castor oil.
My hair gets suuuper dry in the winter, Castor oil helps me retain moisture and help plaster down my ng.
I also use the Hairveda and Afroveda to mix my sulfur.

Hemp Seed and Wheat Germ are ceramides. They make my hair feel :lick: So far I've only used them once to seal. And once in a dc. I plan on using them more in my reggie once I can figure out how to mask the smell.:perplexed

EVOO I mix in dc, but since discovering the WGO and Hemp oil they will replace it.
EVCO I use for diet purposes now since I like Vatika, However I use to use it to make homemade oils.

Navaratna is an Ayurvedic oil smells pretty bad but it does relieve pain and induce sleep. I rub it on my scalp sometimes when I can't sleep. I also rub it on aching muscles.

I didn't think I had enough oils to qualify me to post here. But then I got to counting....

EVCO
EVOO
JBCO
Sac Bakim Yagi (Turkish Hair Care Oil blend)
Jojoba
Wheat Germ Oil
Wild Growth Oil
Nexxus Botanic Oil
Afroveda hibiscus and shikakai oils
clove essential oil
snake oil (yes--I bought it as a joke but supposedly its for hair loss)
Claudie's Growth Elixir
Global Goddess Hair Oil
HairVeda Vatika Frosting (I melt mine down and use it from a squeeze bottle)
EMU Oil
BioOil (for Skin)
Jasmine Essential Oil (I use as fragrance)
Tea Tree oil
HairVeda Avosoya oil
Sulfur Solutions hair and scalp oil mist

I mix them in my DCs; I've put them in shampoo before; I soak my nails in them; I've tried Oil Washing, Oil Rinsing, and Oil Pulling; I use them on my scalp, my hair, my skin, and my food (EVOO).

I hope this isn't a hijacker-style post .

I have like 4 bottles of amla oil (Dabur) and about 4 bottles of mustard oil. I have no idea what to do with them.

Since you lovely posters are like oil experts, can y'all help me with suggestions of how to use this collection?

I was going to use the mustard oil on my scalp b/c I heard it was full of sulfur. And is mustard oil safe to heat? I know people cook with it, and that involves heating.

The Dabur I have no idea how to use and reap the benefits b/c it has mineral oil. Should I hot oil treatment with it?

:yep: Yep or use it as a prepoo without heat. It's beautiful for stopping shedding.
