I hated Redken Allsoft Heavy Creme. It didn't do a 'dang' thing...especially for 15.00!
What I brought that I love and will continue to buy...
Elucence shampoo and the conditioner
Carol's Daughter Healthy Hair Butter
Pantene Pro-V Smooth and Sleek
Paul Mitchell Supercharged(one of those products I didn't like at first but love now)
For the past 2 years I love and continue to buy Lottabody Creme.

I agree with you Pandora. I didn't like the doo gro conditioners or their shampoos. They did nothing for me. /images/graemlins/confused.gif

Sweetcocoa,
I love to hear nice views about Elucence, since I'm going to buy these items next week along with their relaxer. Can't wait!

The products I bought that I love are:
-Mizani Moisturfuse & Fulfyl : really like this a lot. I also like their Botanifying Shampoo.
-Nexxus Botanoil shampoo
-Nexxus Keraphix
-Cathy Howes UBH Conditioner and Dew.
-Aphogee Treatment for dry/damaged hair

Worth it: Mizani Moisturfuse conditioner, Lanza Protein Plus shampoo, Diez en Uno cond., Jason Sea Kelp shampoo and cond., Elucence sham and cond., Grandma's Secret Recipe Scalp Spray (a leave-in detangling/conditioning spray).
I've only had my Crystal's Royal Secrets Sheep Sorrel Ointment and Hair Rejuvenator for a few days, but so far I think they were worth it...

A waste: Redken Heavy Cream (it made my hair feel dry and rough, too! /images/graemlins/confused.gif ), Aura Humectant Pomade (too oily for me to use as a moisturizer), ORS Shea Butter Lotion (made my hair feel hard), Carol's Daughter Hair Milk (too greasy).

Wish i would have left in the store:
Suave coconut condit
Fantasia Deep Penetrating condit
Mizani Botanifying shamp
Mizani Moisturfuse (sorry ladies, its an ok condit for me, but not worth the money IMO)
I had a sample of kenra intensive emollient and i hated it for my hair!! this makes me glad i didn;'t try the elucence line... if its anything like that i'm glad i saved my money

Lukewarm about:
Lekair cholesterol.. i would use it again in place of any of the condits above
Infusium 23... left my hair dry looking sometimes, but i do think it did a lot to help strengthen overtime
Hask Placenta leave -in ... the alocohol scares me, but it gives good results
Arosci... can't say i'm a fan
Motions Moisture Plus.. i like to add olive oil to mine, without the olive i would give it a 6 of 10
Motions Detangling Spray.. does its job and NOTHING else

I'm Loving:
Creme of Nature shamp alternated every 3 weeks with Breathru shamp
ORS hair mayo
WGO oil mixed with ORS carrot oil!!!!
Aphogee Treatment the ultimate protein
i'll definetely restock on these items..........

I'm Hoping these do well in my hair:
Africa's Best leave in mayo
Profectiv Breakfree
Lottabody Creme Wrap

ok, i'm done! /images/graemlins/clap.gif

londondiva, what was good about the breakthru shampoo

[/ QUOTE ]

Well it doesn't contain any sulfates and that stuff is moisturising as /images/graemlins/censored.gif for a shampoo. It just feels so good on my hair and is very gentle. So gentle in fact that I can't use it initially on my hair to remove any products. I use Motions Lavish and then follow up with the breakthru.

Thx Pandora,

That's what I get for not scrolling down before I ask a question. I'm not sure if I really need another Shampoo though I have my fave Creme or Nature (Detangling) The Loreal Nature's Therapy shampoo, BIOSTRAND shampoo, ORS Uplifiting Shampoo The Creme of Nature is the best IMO.

WORTH IT:

Mizani Moisturefuse: For me, it does exactly what it says it will.

Elucence Shampoo & Conditioner: I hated these at first but like them alot now. The shampoo lathers up richly, is v.gentle and the conditioner detangles well. Great for COwashes.

Motions Nourish In: It does give a nice slip on wet hair before rollarsetting.

Adding virgin olive oil to conditioners.

Kerastase Macquintense: It does leave the hair noticeably fuller and softer.

New Image Damage Free Thermal Styling Conditioner: Love this and its only 99 cents!

John Frieda's Relax Ripple Effects: Like using it in the summer for wavy curls. (Have to use it with Kiehls Silk Groom though).

NOT WORTH IT:

IC Fantasia Leave In: The watery leave in. Made my hair very dry.

Sebastians Cellaphanes/Colourshines: (Ducking for this). The colour was nice in my hair but for me, it made my hair feel very rough & dry no matter how deeply I'd condition it each week.

Kerastase Oleo Relax Serum: Its okay but nothing to rave about. Prefer Keracare's Silken Seal.

Pantene Daily Moisture Renewal: I wouldn't re-purchase. Not moisturizing enough.

Naasab's Shea Butter. Does nothing for me. Prefer using v.olive oil alone.

Aura's Humectant Pomade.

PRODUCTS BOUGHT & CAN'T WAIT TO TRY:

L'anza Long Hair Serum. Got this reduced from $11+ to $3.99.
L'oreal Nature Therapy Unfrizz Smoothing Treatment.
Kerastase Oleo Relax Smoothing Shampoo.
Motions Lavish Shampoo.

Worth the purchase:

Aubrey's GPB and Island Spice Creme Rinse

Felt like a rip-off:

Nexxuss Humectress and Redken's CAT Treatment

Weeding out of 2003 routine:
Apple Cider Vinegar rinse. Not doing it's job and it's smelly. To be replaced with BlkMane's recipe for Amla tonic for the scalp.
