Worth it? KGB Deals: Le Angelique Flat Iron for $35

Le Angelique Flat Iron - Was $169, now $35.

I'm in the market for a new flat iron (haven't straighten my hair in years) and I just started looking for one. I saw this deal in my email today and was wondering if anyone knows of this brand. It sound like it would work for me because I don't want to spend a lot of money on something I will probably use once or twice a year at the most.

Thoughts?

that's my review on folica. i paid $50 for mine and it's definitely worth way more. i didn't believe that the plates would be "real" ceramic, but was ecstatic when they were. the texture of the plates is so different from any iron i've ever had. i recently bought another for my aunt and she loves it as well. i may buy a couple more for christmas since i'm always scared of dropping mine and the price going up on me.

I own THIS ONE and the PInk One. I paid more then this by far and it is a great iron I only use it up to the second to third notch from the last because it does have a button to control the heat and the hot gets hottttt.

just wanted to add, that i can flat iron my hair on as low as 330 degrees and still get STRAIGHT hair.


ETA. we're not talking about the same iron. the plates on yours are tourmaline crystal stone. i keep forgetting that reading is fundamental. everytime someone asks about a flat iron, i always post this link and hope they they try it out because it is the best i've ever had.
