I love your videos and the info you provide, but I don't get why it takes 2.5 hours to apply Kinky Curly. The owner of the product, Shelley Davis has wayyy longer hair and it doesn't take her that long. She has video on youtube of her applying the Kinky Curly Curling Custard. I even use Kinky Curly and I have long hair and it doesn't take me 2.5 hours just to put the product on my hair. Sorry, I just don't get. Are you applying on super duper tiny strands of hair?

If I said it took me 2.5 hours, that is how long it took. I don't "get" your suspicions.
How ever long it takes Shelly Davis to apply it to her hair, has nothing to do with mine. She never even mentions how long it takes her. I have video footage from mine.
FYI: Hair LENGTH is just one attribute. The kinky TEXTURE, DENSITY & how gently you handle your hair will affect how long it takes to apply this product.
Is this subject so serious that we need private investigators?

Off topic but I have a clinical instructor who is JUST like this. OMG you ask her a question about a patient and that response above is her response on a good day :perplexed. Some people just don't know how to interact with others.



Back to the topic her hair is beautiful though.
 
I give KT a pass because her leave-in is fabulous. And, she FREELY shared it with everyone on YT. Other folks would have bottled it and tried to make a buck. Plus, snippy comebacks aside, I prefer to watch someone who is well-spoken and obviously more educated than some of those ghetto fabulous chicks that get lots of kudos around here ::::cough::::April::::cough::::. At least KT isn't an ignorant black woman walking stereotype!

Everyone has flaws, but Kimmay's attitude is in a league all its own. She's stank all the time for no reason.
You'd think she'd get tired and give it a damn rest...it can't be easy on the soul to be that angry and defensive all the time.
But no...she stay funky. :ohwell:

And she wouldn't have to worry so much about being criticized and scrutinized if she could manage to be a somewhat less abrasive person.

If she had tried to bottle and sell it she would have gotten SUED because she uses Knot Today in her mix...there was nothing to sell. For her to sell it she would have either had to buy a conditioner base (without her knowing if she liked it, so it would have required a lot of experimentation) or made it from scratch. People have been adding AV juice and oils to tweak their conditioners to their liking way before she did it. Gosh.

All YouTubers can get stank, because you got people coming to your channel trying to "tell you about yourself," when they can really get the he(( on. However, to me, KT is supposed to be a businesswoman b/c she is selling ish to people - she's not simply a personal YTuber. So...she needs to watch that 'tude since she is capitalizing off of her viewers. And the response she gave that person shown in the thread was really not warranted...like, fa real? Come on...

That comment and her response got deleted. I saw it the first time I clicked but I see it's gone now. Pretty sketch disappearance in a half hour for a comment on a 1+ month old video. :scratchch

I see your point, Chaosbutterfly but in her videos we are only seeing a snippet of who she is (or wants to be) so we may not be seeing an actual portrait of her as a person 24/7. I can't fault her for being defensive because look what has happened in the last couple of months. Heck, look what's happening here now. I don't know... I'm going to quit because I don't want to be accused of being a sympathizer :lol:

Shes not as bad as Kimmay and its not consistent but she can go there, i just don't get it though these people post youtube videos saying they want to help others but get annoyed when people ask questions I dont care how many times people ask the same question. When you put yourself out there to teach and give advice that's what you should expect. Its disappointing when your hair idol ends up being bissssh....some people get discourage bc of it.
