Long hair is cute Just not on me

So I Cut it off.







And had the nerve to put a relaxer on it


AND I LOVE IT!!!!! I never let my hair grow too far past my shoulders because it was a hassle and I ALWAYS found a reason to trim here and trim there...and there again . Yesterday I just said forget it and I took my scissors and cut and cut and cut. I made a thread a while ago talking about cutting my hair and I'm glad I did it. Long hair is nice, and you ladies look gorgeous with it, but I couldnt work it the way I can work this cut.

Love it. When I was relaxed my hair never made it past my shoulders. I would always see some wonderful style I wanted to wear and would cut it.

Thank you. Knowing how to do your own hair is the BEST! Watching a couple of Braxton family values and seeing Toni's cute cut made the cutting bug bite me....hard. That and my hair pretty much staying in a ponytail or some protective style was getting on my last nerve. Also to be honest, long hair made me look older and more reserved.

Its not I cant remember if its matrix, redkin or schwarzkopf. I cant even recommend a good box color. Its an old color that faded, I cant even tell you what it is exactly because i mixed up a couple of colors. But on the color scale, its was level 8 with coppers and golds (warmth) that faded to a reddish brownish 7 . Heres a pic of when it was first done
