Hiya!
So it has been 3 yes since I joined and my initial goal was to be BSL... I'm happy to say that after many trims and one highlite disaster :(. I finally made it.

If you don't mind me asking, what length did you start at backing 2008? Also, are you natural or relaxed?

Thanks Vestaluv! I don't mind at all... my starting length is the pic in my siggy... i was just about at shoulder length. and I am relaxed.

Thanks for the update on your progress. I know a lot of ladies on the board get discouraged and can feel like SL to APL and beyond is unachievable... It most definately is achievable for all of us (relaxed or natural)!
Happy continued hair journey OP :).
 
great progress. And may I ask, is that a rollerset in the pics? It's gorgeous and of course the short and simple version of a reggie would be awesome.

lol... i decided last October i needed a change and decided to let the dominican salon highlight my bangs... she spoke little to no english and said only "no bleach" i was so pressed to have it done, that i didn't follow that little voice in my head and got it done.... 2 weeks later i started noticing blond strands everywhere. My bangs thinned and broke off something severe. after about 6 months of that and just being plain fed up with the color and breakege i decided to just start cutting away at it. i lost bangs that were once chin length to just about where you see them now... i still got about an inch of the color left on the tip... needless to say i learned my lesson.:yep:
