I'm joining this challenge (late, but still...). I've been really bad lately, but it's because I want to get my hair to look and feel a certain way and I'm not sure what will work best.
I don't think my list is bad, but I've done the whole use it up/throw it out thing before and now I'm almost back to where I started
I got to a really good list of staples, but since I've gone from natural to texturized/texlaxed in the past year some products don't work as well anymore and I've been on the hunt for new and better.
Goal: Cut my list in half
Shampoos
QOD original cleanse clarifying shampoo (staple, for now)
Body Shop ginger scalp care
Pantene pro-v moisture renewal for curly hair shampoo
Body Shop rainforest moisture shampoo (former staple, now tangles my hair)
Cream of Nature argan oil moisture and shine shampoo
Conditioners
Pantene pro-v moisture renewal for curly hair conditioner
Aussie moist
(staple)
Deep Conditioners
Creme of Nature professional nourishing and strengthening treatment (protein)
Body Shop rainforest moisture hair butter (moisture)
Leave Ins/Moisturizers
Aphogee keratin green tea restructurizer
(staple)
ORS olive oil moisturizing hair lotion
(staple)
Cantu shea butter leave in conditioning repair cream
(staple)
Oils
Meknes of Morocco infusion argan oil
(staple)
Coconut oil
(staple)
Styling products
Fantasia IC hair polisher styling gel
(staple)
Fantasia IC hair polisher olive styling gel
Miss Jessie's curly pudding
Kinky Curly curling custard
Cantu shea butter for natural hair coconut curling cream
(might revisit after my transition)
Cantu shea butter for natural hair moisturizing curl activator cream
Fantasia IC regular gel and KCCC are probably going to be my staples for this category. Everything else is too heavy/sticky or smells too strong for me and Miss Jessie's is stupidly expensive.
Other products
Dove hair spray
(staple)
Body Shop coconut oil hair shine
CHI iron guard thermal protection spray
Aloe vera juice
(staple)
