It's been a long time coming, but I'm happy to introduce you to our new brand.

First, I have to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for your continued support for the past 5 years. When I started Pura Body Naturals I had no clue people would love the products as much as they do. I honestly thought people wouldn't look twice at these products using butters with crazy sounding names. However, I was completely wrong. Over these years I've done good things in business and I've made mistakes which I had to grow and learn from. From all of that, came a growth mindset and understanding things had to change for myself and my business. As a business owner I had to grow and make sure my customers are the center of my business. When they trust me enough to support my business they deserve the best experience I can offer. From those changes I made the decision it was time for Pura Body Naturals to grow. Pura Body Naturals is now Amazon Rain Hair Essentials.

What's Changing?
  • In addition to the new look and name, a new rinse out conditioner was added, Amazon Rain Moisturizing Conditioner
  • We no longer have the Chocolate Hair Smoothie
  • Our new web address will be http://amazonrainhair.com/password. Purabodynaturals.com will be forwarded to the new website address
  • Conditioners and Moisturizers are now 12 oz. instead of 8 oz.
  • The Mango Tea Scalp Butter and Brazil Loc Oil will be phased in next year if customer demand is there. We will begin with 4 products: Cupuacu Hair Butter, Sapote Hair Lotion, MuruMuru Moisture Milk, and Amazon Rain Moisturizing Conditioner
  • This week will change all social media names
  • New email address will be sent with the BOGO sale information

Is the BOGO Sale the same?
There will be some changes in the holiday BOGO sale. Starting this year the sale is BOGO 50% off but the sizes are larger. Now you'll get 12 oz instead of the normal 8 oz. In the past we've done the BOGO for a 30 day period. Due to a new site and implementing new systems the first sale will be 11/27-11/30and the 2nd sale will occur in December. This will allow me to assess the new systems and make any adjustments before the December sale. The dates for the December sale will be announced soon.

I just emailed them about my beloved Mango Tea Scalp Butter. One of my Winter HG's.

My 3 top ones are (in no particular order):
Darcy's Eucalyptus & Mint
Komaza Scalp Butter (always on the threat of being discontinued)
Purabody Mango Tea (now looking like it will be discontinued)

It's getting more & more difficult to find replacements:angry2:

Not understanding your question?

For some reason these items may not be 'big sellers' for them, which is the only thing I can think of?

We, for the most part, I think, have gotten away from applying things directly on our scalps.

Although I, and many others still do. These 3 have been Fall/Winter HG's for me since my HHJ.

But I think these types of products aren't big sellers for them.

Even though all 3 are Highly effective and do what they're suppose to do.

When Komaza's Scalp Butter wasn't available one Winter, Jenn said it was being reformulated and would come back. When it came back it was nothing like it was before.

Now, I think it's gone again? At least it was the last time I looked.

Purabody's and Darcy's are sort of Similar with that menthol-minty-tea tree tingle for 'itchy' scalps (like Komaza's use to be).

And now, PBN is deciding they may discontinue it.

I hope that is what you meant by your question.

I may have to try these. They have my favorite moisturizing ingredient, Hyaluronic Acid. I'm gonna wait though. Even though the products are $10, the 7.23 shipping is a bit much. I want to see how the Mielle Organics leave-in works first.

Update: I put 3 items in my cart and the shipping was $11.83. Shipping is too high. You save $21 on products and add $11 back in shipping. I couldn't do it.
